Description

This template should be added after statements or paragraphs in articles that need to expanded with more information. Using the template automatically adds the article to Category: Articles Missing Information.

This template is one of several Editorial Notations.

Usage

Note: When used on article pages, this template will render as follows ( [expand] ) It does not render correctly on this page due to recursive linking logic.
Tag Only
When just {{expand}} is passed, it will add a superscript note that says "[expand]".
When you hover over it for a moment, a pop-up message will appear that says "This statement needs to be expanded with more information.".

Reason Parameter
When reason= is passed, it will replace the text "This statement needs to be expanded with more information." in the pop-up message with your input.

Date Parameter
When date= is passed, it will add your input to the end of the pop-up message in parentheses.
The pop-up message "This statement needs to be expanded with more information." will still appear unless reason= is also passed.
