== History ==
At the beginning of ''[[{{b|The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion}}]]'', Emma does not own any books of her own. This is due to her being forced to sell all her parents' belongings in order to attend school{{Emma ref|e1|31 March 1883}}{{Emma ref|e1|9 March 1883}} and because the library of Lapis Lazuli belongs to [[Archibald Flat]], it being the sole inheritance he received from his late wife, Emma's great aunt.{{Emma ref|e1|22 march 1883}} Thus, she is forced to rebuild her library from scratch.
